Production Engineer The Trail to Headship Posts Job Description: Responsibilities: Process Optimization: Using the concepts of Lean Manufacturing, create and implement effective manufacturing workflows to boost output and shorten cycle times. Production Scheduling: Work with the planning team to arrange production runs, making sure that all equipment and raw materials are accessible to fulfill delivery dates. Equipment repair: To reduce downtime, supervise the installation, operation, and repair of manufacturing machines using Total Productive Maintenance (TPM). Quality Control and Troubleshooting: Determine technical errors and production bottlenecks; apply 5S and Six Sigma techniques to conduct root cause analysis to fix problems. Cost management: Keep an eye on production expenses, such as labor and material waste, and put plans in place to increase the effectiveness of the Bill of Materials (BOM). Safety & Compliance: Make sure that all manufacturing floor operations closely follow environmental and OSHA safety guidelines.
