Role Overview:We are seeking an experienced and customer-obsessed Senior Customer Care Executive with deep travel industry expertise and hands-on knowledge of GDS tools like Sabre and Amadeus. You ll be responsible for handling high-priority support requests, solving complex travel issues, and mentoring junior support staff-all while ensuring an exceptional customer experience.Key Responsibilities:- Handle complex customer service queries related to flights, hotels, cancellations, and itinerary changes.- Use GDS platforms (Sabre, Amadeus) to make, amend, and cancel travel bookings.- Act as a point of escalation for critical or high-profile customer support issues.- Liaise with airlines, hotels, and other travel service providers to resolve customer concerns.- Provide guidance and support to junior team members and help in training initiatives.- Collaborate with the product and operations teams to highlight user feedback and improve internal tools.- Ensure SLA adherence and maintain a high CSAT (Customer Satisfaction Score).- Maintain accurate records of conversations and resolutions using CRM tools.Key Requirements: - Minimum 5 years of experience in customer support roles in the travel industry.- Strong hands-on experience with GDS tools like Sabre and Amadeus is mandatory.- Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal.- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to work independently and under pressure.- Familiarity with corporate travel policies and B2B travel workflows is a strong plus.- Tech-savvy and comfortable with CRM systems, ticketing tools, and remote collaboration tools.Preferred Qualifications:- Bachelor s degree or equivalent in travel, hospitality, or a related field.- Prior experience working in a travel tech or SaaS-based travel platform is a plus.- Ability to work flexible shifts, including occasional weekends or holidays if needed.Why Join RouteSpring?- Opportunity to be part of a mission-driven travel-tech startup.- Work with a passionate, distributed, and collaborative team.- Competitive compensation and growth opportunities.- Flexible work environment with remote-first culture.
