Key Responsibilities:1. FOCO Investor Sales & Capital Raising- Understand and execute the Chairman s vision for the Food Brands Cafeteria & Kiosk business formats- Design and execute FOCO/FOFO investor acquisition strategy to raise investments for cafeteria expansion- Drive marketing campaigns and lead funnels to generate high-quality investor leads- Conduct investor meetings, pitches, negotiations, and closuresPresent:- Unit economics- ROI & break-even models- Profitability projections- Ensure strong investor confidence, transparency, and post-investment relationship management2. Business Concept, Format & PositioningDefine and optimize cafeteria/kiosk formats based on location and audience:- High Streets- Premium Locations- Corporate offices & IT parks- Educational institutions- Malls, public places & transit hubs- High-street & outdoor locations- Decide brand mix, pricing strategy, menu architecture, and service models per format- Ensure each format delivers commercial viability, speed of service, and repeat consumption3. Pre-Opening & Business Establishment (0 - 1 Ownership)- Lead end-to-end setup of cafeterias/kiosks from concept to inauguration:- Site identification, feasibility & footfall analysis- Commercial negotiations with mall owners, corporates, landlords, and authorities- Layout planning, kiosk/cafeteria design & fabrication- Equipment, POS, signage, and vendor onboardingEnsure:- All licenses & statutory approvals (FSSAI, fire, municipal, etc.)- Budget adherence and timeline discipline- Manage simultaneous multi-city launches at scale4. Cafeteria & Kiosk Operations (1 - N Scale)- Own daily operations across all cafeteria/kiosk outlets- Build and enforce SOPs covering:- Kitchen operations & hygiene- Food quality & consistency- Inventory, wastage & procurement- Manpower productivity & scheduling- Customer experience standardsRecruit, train, and manage:- Area Managers- Store/Kiosk Managers- Kitchen & service staff- Ensure operational excellence, cost control, and brand consistency across India5. Financial Management & P&L Ownership (Non-Negotiable)- Own complete P&L responsibility for the cafeteria/kiosk for Food brandDrive:- Revenue growth per outlet- EBITDA margins- Cost optimization (food, manpower, rent, overheads)Track and improve:- Outlet-level profitability- Investor ROI- Breakeven timelinesPrepare and present:- Budgets & forecasts- Monthly and quarterly P&L reviews- Performance dashboards for leadership and investors- Ensure the vertical runs as a profitable, scalable business, not just an operational network6. Marketing, Growth & Scale StrategyWork with marketing teams on:- Local store marketing- Launch campaigns- Offers, promotions & partnerships- Identify expansion opportunities and new cafeteria formats- Continuously improve menu engineering, pricing, and demand generation- Build a long-term roadmap to scale 400-500 profitable outlets nationwide7. Team, Stakeholder & Governance Management- Build and lead a strong cross-functional team- Act as single-point owner between:- Investors- Vendors- Location partners- Internal leadership- Conduct performance reviews and corrective action plans- Ensure strict compliance with company policies and food industry regulationsQualifications & Experience:- Bachelor s degree in Hospitality / Business (MBA preferred)15-20 years of experience in:- Cafeteria / QSR / branded food businesses- Franchise or FOCO/FOFO business models- Multi-location operations with P&L ownership- Background in brands such as:- Caf Coffee Day, McDonald s, KFC, Pizza Hut, Burger King, Starbucks, Chai Point, etc.- Strong understanding of FSSAI, food safety, and regulatory complianceKey Competencies:- Strong entrepreneurial mindset with financial ownership- Proven P&L leadership, not just operations- Excellent investor-facing communication & negotiation skills- Data-driven, execution-focused, and hands-on leader- High accountability with ability to scale businesses profitablyReporting To:- You will report to the CEO of EBG Group (ref:updazz.com)
