Manufacture, testing, installation, service and maintenance of our air handling equipment.Why You Should think about the position -- Established HVAC manufacturer with customized, high-quality air management solutions.- Opportunity to build and scale a strategic region.- Direct impact on business growth and long-term customer relationships.Role PurposeWith this new created position, the objective is establish and office in South, either in AP or Karnataka, depending upon the candidate location.The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth in the respective areas/territory developing strong relationships with MEP consultants, EPC contractors, facility owners, and OEM partners, while leading regional sales operations for Waves Aircon s air handling and ventilation solutions.The role demands a blend of technical HVAC understanding, HVAC Product Awareness.Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Revenue Growth- Own and deliver sales targets for AHUs, ventilation systems, ducts, coils, scrubbers, Industrial Fans and turnkey air management solutions.- Drive penetration into commercial, industrial, pharma, data center, hospital, and large infrastructure projects.Consultant & Key Account Engagement- Build and sustain strong relationships with MEP consultants, HVAC designers, PMC firms, EPC Contractors and facility operators.- Position Waves Aircon solutions based on energy efficiency, compliance, lifecycle cost, and ROI.Turnkey Project & Solution Selling- Lead sales for design-led and turnkey HVAC projects, coordinating with internal engineering, R&D, service, and production teams.- Ensure seamless handover from sales to execution, aligning customer expectations with technical feasibility.- Support pre-bid technical discussions, BOQs, and commercial negotiations for large projects.Market Intelligence & Business Development- Track competitor activity, market pricing trends, and upcoming projects.- Identify new channel partners, EPC alliances, and strategic accounts.- Provide market feedback to management on product improvements and new opportunities.Candidate ProfileExperience- 8-12 years of experience in HVAC / Air Handling / Ventilation / MEP/EPC industry.- Proven track record in sales and handling territories (AP and Tamil Nadu and Kerala).- Strong exposure to AHUs, ducting systems, ventilation solutions, PID / PHI systems, or related HVAC products.- Experience working closely with MEP consultants, EPC contractors, and facility owners.Technical & Commercial Skills- Strong understanding of HVAC system design, energy efficiency, compliance norms, and lifecycle costing.- Ability to sell value-based solutions, not just products.- Expertise in handling large, long-cycle projects from specification to closure.- Sound commercial negotiation and contract-finalization skills.Leadership & Behavioral Competencies- Strategic thinker with hands-on execution capability.- Strong cross-functional coordination skills (engineering, service, operations).- Customer-centric, solution-oriented, and outcome-driven.- Comfortable operating at both strategic and ground-level execution.Education- Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering or related field.- MBA / PGDM in Sales or Marketing is preferred.What Success Looks Like- Strong consultant and EPC mindshare for Waves Aircon products in South India.- Consistent achievement of regional revenue and margin targets.- Well-structured regional team with predictable pipeline and forecast accuracy.- Increased share of turnkey and design-led HVAC projects.- Bottom of Form (ref:updazz.com)
