Now Hiring: Injection Moulding Operator Plastic Manufacturing Job Description: The Injection Molding Operator is the "Machine Execution Anchor" and "Production Flow Specialist" of our plastic manufacturing division. Your primary mission is to operate, monitor, and maintain automated plastic injection molding machinery to produce high-quality components matching strict dimensional tolerances. You act as the "Frontline Process Guardian," ensuring machines run at optimized cycle times, hopper levels remain consistently fed, and output targets are hit without introducing safety hazards or material waste. The ideal candidate is an safety-first, alert operator who understands machine controls, can confidently distinguish between a clean part and a molding defect, and possesses the physical stamina required to keep a busy manufacturing cell running smoothly. Key Duties Machine Operation & Setup Safety: Operate, oversee, and manage designated plastic injection molding machines in accordance with normal operating procedures and predetermined parameter cards. Material Feeding & Blending: Make sure the material names correspond with the current task card. Prepare, weigh, and feed raw plastic granules, masterbatches, and regrind materials into hopper systems and dehumidifying dryers. Molded Part Extraction & Degating: Using pneumatic nippers and human trimming tools, carefully extract molded plastic components from automated conveyor lines or machine drops. In-Line Quality Sorting: Visually analyze newly ejected plastic components continuously to look for common molding defects such flash, short shots, burn markings, sink marks, warping, and silver streaks. Post-Molding Procedures & Finishing: Apply traceability batch tags, snap-fitting attachments, manual hole deburring, smooth flash deflashing, and other basic secondary adjustments to parts.
