Maintenance Engineer Pretreatment, CED & Painting Line Job Description Our chemical surface finishing division's "Electro-Mechanical Reliability Guardian" and "Process Line Lifecycle Authority" is the Paintshop Maintenance Engineer. Your main goal is to plan, optimize, and carry out thorough preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance workflows throughout the whole industrial coating ecosystem, converting robotic spray booths, curing oven infrastructures, volatile, high-precision Pre-Treatment (PT), and Cathodic Electrodeposition (CED) infrastructures into high-availability production assets. As the "Shop-Floor Operational Anchor," you assume direct engineering responsibility for industrial baking ovens, high-capacity Air Handling Units (AHUs), electrostatic bell applicators, pressurized paint kitchen piping networks, multi-stage chemical circulation pumps, and variable frequency drives (VFDs).. Responsibilities: Maintenance for Robotic and Electrostatic Spray Systems: Calibrate fluid dosing pumps, pneumatic shaping air circuits, automated painting robots, and electrostatic high-rotation bell applicators. PT & CED Fluid Infrastructure Engineering: To guarantee constant fluid agitation and prevent paint settling, maintain and repair heavy-duty multi-stage circulation pumps, heat exchangers, bag filtration skids, ultrafiltration (UF) nodes, and chemical dosing systems. HVAC & Cleanroom AHU Environment Control: Maintain accurate cleanroom positive pressures, temperature, and relative humidity by controlling preventative servicing loops for specialized Air Handling Units. This includes keeping an eye on fan belt tensions, upgrading HEPA filter banks, and calibrating automated dampers. Curing Oven & Burner System Governance: Maintain exact temperature uniformity profiles by servicing and validating direct and indirect gas-fired burner systems, inspecting ignition electrodes, gas train safety valves, exhaust blower fans, and combustion loops. Skills: Advanced Fluid Dynamics & Thermal Engineering Blueprint Literacy: Outstanding ability to decipher complex multi-page electrical control schematics, mechanical assembly charts, pneumatic maps, and piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs). Industrial Automation, VFD & PLC Diagnostics Fluency: Good troubleshooting knowledge of fieldbus communication loops, variable frequency drive adjustments, and automated equipment controls. Proficiency with digital storage oscilloscopes, insulation testers, thermal imaging cameras, thickness gauges, and airflow anemometers is a prerequisite for precision metrology and instrument calibration. Frameworks for Root Cause Analysis (RCA): Organized capacity to apply formal engineering problem-solving techniques to permanently eradicate recurring equipment failures.
