Utility Hookups & Leak Testing: Connect and verify cooling water lines, chillers, Mold Temperature Control (MTC) units, hydraulic core pulls, hot runner cables, and air blow circuits. Safeguarding & Purging: Set mechanical ejector stops, verify Low-Pressure Mold Protection (LPMP) limits, execute Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures, and assist during material purging and trial shots. Rigging & Overhead Crane Operation: Safely operate overhead bridge cranes, hoists, and eyebolts during tool transportation, loading, and unloading. Setup Analytics & Downtime Logging: Record mold changeover durations, setup delay causes, maintenance issues, and trial clearance status using daily tracking logsheets and spreadsheets.
