Product Inspection Engineer Pre-Dispatch Testing Job Description Responsibilities: Perform comprehensive final inspections (PDI) on finished products, assemblies, and machinery using engineering blueprints, inspection checklists, and standard testing procedures. Conduct dimensional, visual, functional, electrical/mechanical, and surface finish checks using calibrated metrology tools, gauges, and diagnostic instruments. Verify shipping documentation, serial numbers, customer-specific labels, standard accessory kits, and compliance certificates against Customer Purchase Orders (PO) and dispatch notes. Evaluate export and domestic packaging quality, anti-rust preservation, shock absorption, strapping, and container loading compliance to prevent transit damage. Issue final PDI Reports, Quality Certificates, and Inspection Release Notes required for product dispatch clearance. Raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) for defective units identified during final inspection, quarantine non-conforming items, and coordinate with Production and Quality teams for rapid re-work or scrap.
