Sr. Teradata Developer: - Teradata SQL and Query Optimization Minimum qualifications : - 4 years of experience in data warehousing and Teradata Development - Excellent knowledge of SQL and ETL processing in data warehousing environment - Excellent knowledge of Teradata Tools Fast Load MultiLoad BTEQ TPT Excellent Knowledge of Teradata Query Optimization Practical knowledge of Teradata Data Mover - Practical knowledge of Teradata Backup and Restore Practical knowledge of Teradata view point - Must understand the Agile methodology and have worked on a Scrum team.
-Experience working on large project(s) incorporating processes and procedures and standards - Experience in the Retail Domain and/or Marketing Function is plus.
-Experience in Scripting is plus (Shell / Python etc.) - Excellent written and verbal communication skills for varied audiences on engineering subject matter - Ability to document requirements, data lineage, subject matter in both business and technical terminology.
-Guide and learn from other team members.
-Demonstrated ability to transform business requirements to code, specific analytical reports and tools - Strong analytical background - Demonstrated leadership and team-building abilities - Creativity, self-confidence, and flexibility Education : Bachelors / Masters degree in specific technical fields like computer science, math, statistics preferred; or equivalent practical experience.
