Career Guideline Role : Linux/Solaris/HP Unix Admin Job location : Bengaluru Notice Period : Immediate to 10 days Job Description : - UNIX L3/L4 Drive Date : 29th May between 11-3pm Job Description : Platform : Linux/Solaris/HPUX - Operating System Administration and troubleshooting.
-Knowledge of system security - Strong Linux/Solaris/HPUX fundamentals - Hands on experience on various LINUX/SOLARIS/HPUX - Hands on experience on DNS, OS clusters, NFS,SAMBA,NIS - Working knowledge on any hardware like HP/Sun /Dell - Working knowledge of storage backup applications will be an added advantage - Knowledge of NAS, SAN storage, HBA cards and multhpathing - Kernel understanding and tuning experience - Advance knowledge on LVM - Knowledge of Scripting (Bash/sed/awk/perl) - Carry out the advance level of troubleshooting on OS and applications - Responsible for guiding L1 L2 resources technically - Work in a 24 X 7 Environment.
-Ensure that the tickets raised per shift are closed as per SLA - Raise and also technically update the tickets in ticketing system for all the issues handled/worked upon.
-Work on the change request.
-Apply patches to the OS/applications or upgrade the applications as and when required, as per the approval from the respective Team Leaders.
-Perform Change Management Drive End to End including POA, approvals, - Work on proactive re-active problem management. Provide RCA - Ensure earlier resolution to the issues to meet SLA - Vendor Follow-up - hardware software whenever required resolve issues by minimizing downtimes. If interested CI Sibani-9743325178
