Job Summary : - A member of IT Infrastructure technical support team, closing working and reporting to BPO head functionally.
-Managing desktop and server systems with upgrades, application of patches, trouble shoot issues, new installations, etc.
-Managing network infrastructure both internal and external.
-Coordinate with Bangalore center as well as with Customer tech support regarding network access, configuring routers, firewall as per policies.
-Qualified candidates must possess a combination of technical and web technology skills. Should be a result oriented and have the ability to be and Duties : - Candidate is expected to understand the overall infrastructure framework, artifacts and services.
-Ensures high availability and acceptable levels of performance of computer systems and network resources.
-Manages day to day operations, in coordination with users, department head and vendor to assist support activities.
-Performs troubleshooting of issues. As such, leads problem solving efforts often involving outside vendors and other support personnel and/or organizations.
-Establishes, maintains and manages user accounts. Installs, modifies and maintains systems and utility software on server computer systems. Provides server support related to other software.
-Establishes and maintains logs guidelines for the installation and management of computer operating systems, disc libraries, switches, tape libraries, biometric, backups and other components relevant to operations.
-Ensures procedures to maintain security and protect systems from unauthorized use, acts of nature and user abuse.
-Ensures procedures, programs and documentation for back up and restoration of operating systems, applications and network resources.
-Develop tools, procedures and training sessions for operations, Client Support and Systems Development staff to assist with work.
-Ensures AMCs and high availability of equipments such as air conditioning system, UPS (uninterrupted Power system) and fire protection system - Positions in this classification may perform all of the responsibilities and some of the other related duties as assigned.
-Ensure excellent client and business head coordination during any trouble shooting and/or deployment. Requirements : Experience : 5-10 years Operating system : Windows and linux Industry : BPO will be an advantage Work experience with Firewall like fortigate and Datacentre will be preferred . Qualifications and Skills : GRADUATION IS A MUST. Certification in CCNA will added advantage.
