Analyze production bottlenecks, cycle times, and line balances to implement Lean manufacturing tools (5S, Kaizen, Kanban, Value Stream Mapping). Collaborate with Quality and Maintenance engineering teams to resolve shop-floor process deviations, equipment downtime, and product non-conformances. Prepare and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions (WI), Process Flow Diagrams (PFD), and Control Plans. Perform root cause analysis (8D, 5-Why, Fishbone) on production defects and yield losses to drive continuous process improvements. Support new product introduction (NPI) trials, tooling setups, line balancing, and process validation activities. Track shift key performance indicators (KPIs) including yield rate, scrap rate, takt time, labor efficiency, and overall equipment effectiveness Required Skills: Hands-on shop-floor process knowledge in discrete or process manufacturing environments. Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement (Kaizen), 5S, and Line Balancing principles. Technical proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings, GD&T, Process Flow Charts, and SOPs. Working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP PP/Oracle) for production planning, work order management, and inventory tracking. Solid analytical, troubleshooting, line management, and team leadership capabilities.
